It's Friday!!!!

Well It's Friday and all is well. I know my last post was about Monday and so depressing so now I've decided to write about Friday and nothing but good stuff...

To start with Julie had a game yesterday in Greensboro and though they tried really hard they still could not pull off there first win. However they did play a great 2nd game and only lost by 5 points which I might say is a GREAT improvement because they usually loose by at least 15 or more. After all, this is there first year and all the girls are new and have no clue how to play volleyball. Julie has only played with our church when we played and really now....were no good either so the concept of actually playing in a game is all new to her and everyone else. The most important thing I tell her is to have fun. If you don't win a game this season at least have fun and enjoy your time with friends. That is one thing I really like about her coach. She doesn't promote winning (which would be a good thing) but she wants them to focus on teamwork and having a good time. Her daddy and I try to go to her games whether they are home or away because we want her to know we support her in every way! WIN OR LOSE!

Tonight is the big rival game in Wentworth...Rockingham VS Reidsville. OK now I know I'm a little partial when it comes to Reidsville Rams....State Champs...but I really hope it's a good game. We most of the time just blow away the competition but we could have an off night and they could possibly have an on night and we could walk away with our first loss since sometime in 06 I believe....and just because we have some friends kids that go there and some that went there just makes it all the more SWEEEEETTTTTT when we win...hehehehe!!!

Now you know why we look forward to Friday's. We just love going to football games and now that we have a girl playing volleyball we go to those games as well. Support your school as well as your kids!!!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL!!!

Hee hee, well I was a Rockingham girl so I'll have to say, Go Cougars! Haha even though they struggle a bit when it comes to sports :p But I think its wonderful she is playing volleyball. I know she is enjoying it and you're right it is important to just have fun and know you did your best winning or losing. Of course I have to admit them only losing by 5 rather than 15 is a huge improvement considering this is their first year and no one knows how to play. Thats awesome! .. and that has to be encourging as a team to know they're improving. You'll have to keep us updated on their games :)

Have a Wonderful Day!
Hugs,
Brianna
